Club Photo Reminder – Saturday 26th June

Just a reminder that club photos will be this Saturday 26th June at MacKillop as per attached scheduled
Most preregistration flyers should have been handed out to players for their parents. Everyone is encouraged to register before Saturday but if you don’t have your individual preregistration flyer or have lost it, you will be able to register on Saturday just before the photos are taken. After registering, approximately 7 days after the photos have been taken, you should be sent a direct link to your photos to view and purchase online.
At this stage photos will be taken on the back training oval up behind the basketball courts as they were last year.
For people wanting sibling photos, all siblings just need to attend one of their assigned photo times and ensure they have pre organised their player jersey with their team manager.
U15 Girls Tackle who have the bye will be getting photos on Friday 25th July at 3:30pm at MacKillop Oval followed by representative and milestone photos from 4pm on Friday.
Those eligible for rep and milestone photos should have been contacted individually.

Club Photos (Player & Team) Round 7 on Saturday 26th June

The club are happy to announce that LookPro are returning on Round 7 on Saturday 26th June to take club photos (individual/team/sibling). Round 7 is a home game for the Colts and we are just waiting on CCDJRL to publish details of the match times and then we’ll be able to schedule when teams will have their photos. Further information will be made available closer to the date.

 

Colts Sponsors Night @ Davistown RSL on Saturday 10th July

The Colts will be having its annual sponsors night at the Davistown RSL on Saturday 10th July (doors open at 6:30pm in the auditorium). There will be finger food and we are happy to announce the return of Comedy for a Cause who will be providing the entertainment. As usual we will be having a number of auction items available to help raise much needed funds for the club.

Tickets are $40 each and are limited so please get on line and book your seats so you don’t miss out on a great night.

Round 1 Draw (Home & Away Games)

Hi Colties, here is the latest draw for Round 1 which kicks off this Saturday 8th May. Its a home round for Kincumber but we will have 6 teams that are playing away at other fields.

MacKillop Oval Field 1 is closest to Empire Bay Drive and MacKillop Oval Field 2 is closest to Brisbane Water

Your coach or Team Managers should be touch with you regarding what time they would like their players at the ground.

You can download the MyLeague App which allows people to track their competition giving them access to the draw, weekly match results and their competition ladder

Final Player Gear Collection – Saturday 17th April – MacKillop Oval Clubhouse

Colts 1st Trial vs Terrigal – Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th March 2021

Hi Colties,

Terrigal have published the times for this weekends trial at Brendan Franklin Oval Terrigal.

Colts Mini’s and Mod’s including U13 Girls League Tag will play Saturday 13th March while all International including U15 Girls League Tag and U15 Girls Tackle will play on Sunday 14th March as per attached games schedule.

If for what ever reason can’t make the trial please let your team coach or manager know.

The club will be having its first player gear collection on Saturday 20th March in the Clubhouse at MacKillop Oval.

U6 – U12 from 10am to midday

U12 – U17 from midday to 2pm

If you can’t make it don’t worry as we’ll have another collection day before the start of the season.

 

Chris Heighington (CHSP) Speed, Agility & Conditioning Program comes to the Colts

Hi Colties, the club is happy to announce an exclusive offer for our players. Chris Heighington (CHSP) is bringing his Speed and Agility program to our club for 2021 for players U10 – U17.

 

Chris played 340 NRL games with teams West Tigers, Cronulla and the Newcastle Knights and won 2 NRL premierships and would love to bring his experience and knowledge to help with the development of our junior players.

 

At a cost of $200 per player, per term, each program plans to run 8 x 45 minute sessions during school term 2 (19th April – 25th June) and school term 3 (12th July – 17th September) and will be run outside of our normal club training days (exact dates & times to be advised once numbers are confirmed).

 

This is a great opportunity for the club and our players to receive specialised training techniques to help develop speed, strength and agility, translating into improved player performance.

Just a reminder that the NSW Active Kids vouchers are now available online for 2021 so please remember to apply for it before registering to play with the Colts this season.

Nomination for Executive and Committee positions close at 7pm tonight. Nominations can still be taken from the floor on the night.
