Colts Presentation Day – Team Attendance Schedule

Presentation Day will be at the MacKillop Oval clubhouse on Sunday 12th December. Teams should arrive between 10 and 15 minutes before their allotted times and wait on the oval facing side of the clubhouse. QR Code sign in is required as is mask wearing inside the clubhouse (unless you have an exemption). Its highly recommended that that only 1 parent per player attend inside the clubhouse. Teams will enter from the oval facing side, have their trophies/awards presented and then leave via the exit on the car park side of the clubhouse. Yearbook and Photos will be provided to the team manager or coach to distribute after leaving the clubhouse.

We appreciate everyone’s patience regarding adherence to the current COVID restrictions. Hopefully presentation day in 2022 will return to normal at the Davistown RSL.

If you have any questions relating to presentation day please contact your team manager or coach or alternatively you can e-mail secretarykincumbercolts@outlook.com

Colts Team Presentation Schedule 2021

Colts Presentation Day – Sunday 12th December

Hi Everyone, just a heads up that our presentation day has been confirmed as Sunday 12th December in the MacKillop Oval club house. COVID compliance requirements means presentation day will be similar to last year with single teams to arrive just before their designated time and enter the clubhouse from the oval side entrance, pick up their trophies, photos and yearbook, have a quick team presentation photo and leave the clubhouse via the car park exit. Details of times will be passed onto your Team Manager and Coach to share with their teams soon.
Its been a tough year for us all and we appreciate every ones patience and support. Hopefully next year will bring us an uninterrupted season and we hope to see everyone back at the Colts in 2022.

Community Sports Abandoned including CCDJRL

On Monday 16th August the NSWRL board agreed to abandon all community competitions including Central Coast Division due to COVID lock down extensions in NSW and any subsequent restrictions post lock down.

Details can be found at https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2021/08/16/Community-Competitions-abandoned-in-Greater-Sydney-and-adjoining-areas/?fbclid=IwAR3Fxzefn8IeK6VtLo461N7Y9AQNRC675SefmUKVjyzsTx1mJYlwISVdkCM

Update on Return to Footy – Monday 2nd August 2021

Monday 2nd August 2021 – Club Update on Return to Footy
Central Coast Council has extended the winter codes season until the weekend of the 17th October 2021. This is somewhat of a good result with our 2021 season competition previously scheduled to finish on 21st August followed by 3 subsequent weeks of finals for mods and international teams qualifying top 4 of their competitions.
Return to training and the remainder of the competition format is still dependent upon how long the lock down period lasts and NSW Public Health order restrictions post lock down.
If we are lucky enough to get out of lock down on 28th August we still have 7 weeks to hopefully play some competition rounds and finals.
Stay tuned for further updates.

Update of Return to Footy – Wednesday 28th July 2021

Hi Colties,
The club just wanted to provide an update regarding return to footy following today’s NSW Government announcement that the current lock down restrictions for our region will be extended until Saturday 28th August.
At this stage we have no details regarding what will happen with the rest of the 2021 CCDJRL season.
We are hopeful that CCDJRL, NSWRL and Central Coast Council are working collaboratively towards a solution for us being able to return in some capacity before the summer sports commence as it would be bitterly disappointing that our season has ended without another game being played since Round 7 on 26th June.
We will endeavour to provide further updates as soon as they become available.
Thanks to everyone for their support and patience.

NSWRL Update on COVID Restrictions, Training and Playing

The NSWRL would like to advise most Major and Community Competitions across the Greater Sydney Region (Sydney, Central Coast, Wollongong, Blue Mountains and Shell harbour areas) will be suspended for another week in line with the latest NSW Public Health Order (to 16 July) to deal with the public health risk from the COVID-19 outbreak.

All suspended competitions across the Greater Sydney Region are now scheduled to resume on the weekend of 24 July, giving teams the opportunity to train before returning to play, but that will be subject to the NSW Public Health Order which applies at the time.

For our CCDJRL, at this stage we are not permitted to train until after the NSW lock down is lifted (hopefully 16th July) meaning return to training at MacKillop Oval would be at the earliest date of Tuesday 20th July and Round 10 competition on Saturday 24th July.

All teams should receive 1 competition point for Round 9.

The club appreciates everyone’s patience and support
